Coffee Co., GA - New Year’s Eve Crash at Perimeter Rd and Hwy 158 E Leaves Multiple People Injured

According to initial reports, the crash involved a silver Audi A6 and a white Jeep Grand Cherokee. The two vehicles collided nearly head-on within the intersection, resulting in extensive damage and multiple injuries. The force of the impact caused the Audi to sustain significant front-end damage before coming to rest beneath a red traffic signal facing eastbound.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee left the roadway after the collision, traveling down a roadside ditch. The vehicle reportedly rolled onto its side before striking a fence at a nearby cargo trailer lot adjacent to Vickers Audio. The rollover and off-road impact further complicated rescue efforts, as responders worked to assess injuries and stabilize the scene.

Emergency personnel provided immediate medical care to those involved in the crash. Multiple individuals were reported injured and were transported by EMS to Coffee Regional Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. At this time, officials have not released details regarding the number of people injured, nor the severity of their injuries.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office has not yet confirmed what factors led to the near head-on crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
