Ware Co., GA – Child Badly Hurt in Crash on GA 520 at Mixon Abbott Rd

Officials said a 2016 Jeep Patriot traveled westbound when a school bus heading east tried to turn left onto Mixon Abbott Road. The bus did not yield and struck the left side of the Jeep. The impact caused the Jeep to overturn. 

The driver of the Jeep, identified as Karina Soto, and two other children in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Paramedics took them to a local hospital for evaluation.

Authorities said the school bus driver was not injured, and there were no passengers on the bus at the time. The investigation into this crash remains ongoing.
