Douglas, GA (August 27, 2026) – A fatal traffic crash occurred Thursday night, August 27, at the intersection of Hwy 441 S and Perimeter Rd in Douglas.
According to the incident report, a 2017 Ford Fusion traveling north on Hwy 441 reportedly failed to stop at a red light and struck a 2014 Infiniti QX80.
The collision caused the Infiniti to roll over. The Infiniti's driver, 57, of Douglas, did not survive the crash.
The Ford's driver, 19, of Pearson, and four occupants of the Infiniti were transported to Coffee Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
