Coffee Co., GA - Ambrose Woman Faces Hit-and-Run Charges Again After Crash on Georgia Hwy 206

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a trooper responded to a collision at approximately 10:20 p.m. Investigators say the driver of Vehicle 1, identified as 26-year-old Erin Micalah Slusher of Ambrose, was traveling south on Georgia Highway 206 in a white 2004 Dodge pickup. Vehicle 2, a white 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, was also heading south on the highway.

The accident report indicates that Slusher attempted to make a left turn onto the 206 Connector but failed to yield to the approaching Tahoe. The Tahoe’s driver swerved left in an attempt to avoid the crash but was unable to prevent the impact. After the collision occurred, Slusher allegedly fled the scene without stopping.

Officers located Slusher shortly afterward and placed her under arrest. She was charged with DUI, hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield while turning left, driving with an expired license, and a taillight violation. She was transported to the Coffee County Jail and later released on bond.

Officials have not confirmed the extent of injuries, and our thoughts are with those impacted as they move forward from the incident.
